Surf Cody's Right

Cody's Right - Lipfert Island Nature Reserve Cody's Right features a powerful reef break with hollow and fast waves, suitable for experienced surfers. The bottom consists of sharp coral rocks, and the waves break both right and left. It works best at mid and high tide, with optimal conditions from swell coming from the Northwest, West, or Southwest, and wind from the Southeast, East, or Northeast. Accessing this remote surf spot requires a boat launch from Anchorage Bay, followed by a paddle to the break. The journey involves a long walk of over 30 minutes, and surfers should be cautious of potential dangers such as rips, rocks, and sharks. Despite its challenging access, Cody's Right remains relatively uncrowded throughout the week, offering a unique surfing experience in a pristine natural setting.
