Description

Cape Elizabeth - Quinault Indian Nation This surf spot features powerful, hollow waves breaking over a rocky reef with a sandy bottom. The waves can break both right and left, making it suitable for various skill levels. Access is limited, as the beach is on tribal land, and non-tribal persons are prohibited. A long walk (over 30 minutes) is required to reach the surf. Cape Elizabeth is a hidden gem that demands respect for the Quinault Nation. The area is known for its emptiness during the week and weekend, providing a serene surfing experience. However, surfers should be cautious of sharp rocks and the potential for losing equipment if caught trespassing. The spot works well at all tides, particularly during a rising tide, with optimal conditions from north, southeast, and east winds, and swell from the northwest, west, and southwest. Always prioritize safety and respect local regulations when visiting.
