Surf Bribie Island

Bribie Island - Australia Bribie Island features a beach break with both right and left waves over a sandy bottom. The waves are known for being hollow, fast, and fun, primarily working during high tide with a rising tide movement. Access is straightforward, with public access available. Located at the northern end of Moreton Bay, Bribie Island is a popular surf spot, especially during holidays when crowds increase significantly. To reach the surf, drive to Woorim on First Avenue, turn left at the end of the street, and follow the road to the end before turning right. Ideal conditions occur with northeast winds and swells from the east and northeast. While weekdays see fewer surfers, weekends can become quite crowded, making it essential to arrive early for the best waves.
