Surf Blowies

Blowies - New South Wales Blowies features a rocky reef with both right and left-breaking waves, known for their hollow and fast characteristics. The spot is best accessed via a 15-30 minute walk around two points, as there is no car access. It works well at low and mid tides, particularly during a falling tide. This surf spot is renowned for its long barrels, especially when the swell reaches 1 meter or more. While it can be empty during the week, expect a few surfers on weekends. Caution is advised due to the presence of rocks and sharks, and surfers should avoid getting washed onto the boulders. The ideal wind directions are from the Northwest, West, or Southwest, with the best swell coming from the Southeast.
