Description
Bexhill - Bexhill-on-Sea
Bexhill features a beach break with both right and left waves, characterized by a sandy bottom interspersed with rocks. The spot typically experiences ordinary to powerless wave conditions, primarily influenced by southwest winds and west swell. It is best surfed at mid tide during rising and falling tides.
Access to the water is convenient, with instant access along the seafront. The area is generally uncrowded during the week, attracting only a few surfers on weekends. While the waves can be inconsistent, summer evenings may offer small, clean conditions. Notable spots include the area west of the De La Warr Pavilion and towards South Cliff, where occasional storm drain swells can produce sloppy barrels. Caution is advised due to the presence of rocks in the lineup.
