Surf Bafureira

Bafureira - São Pedro do Estoril Bafureira features a point break with both right and left waves, breaking over a reef bottom composed of sharp rocks. This spot is best surfed at mid tide during falling tide conditions, with optimal swell coming from the South and SouthWest. Access is easy, with less than a 5-minute walk from the parking area. Located on the left side of the bay in São Pedro do Estoril, Bafureira is renowned for its quality waves, often considered the best on the Estoril Coast. While it can get crowded on weekends, weekdays see fewer surfers. Be cautious of rips and rocks, especially at low tide when the hazards are more visible. The wave offers fun rides, making it a worthwhile paddle despite the challenges.
