Located just off North Wollongong beach, Acids can be tricky to find; it’s the first reef on the left after the rocks. Expect a crowded atmosphere, particularly on weekends, as this area attracts surfers of all levels. The vibe is generally friendly, but be cautious of localism and urchins in the water. The spot works best with southeast to northeast swells and northwest to south winds. Always check conditions before heading out, as the waves can be unpredictable and challenging.
