The wave is known for its fun, rippable nature, with mushy take-offs transforming into gaping barrels if you connect the sections. Be cautious of the strong riptides and undertows, especially during head-high swells. Located at the northernmost stretch of Huntington Beach, this spot is accessible via Pacific Coast Highway at 17th Street. It works best at mid tide and can handle swells from 1.2 meters (4 feet) to 2.4 meters (8 feet), particularly during winter. While crowds can be sparse on weekdays, expect a busier scene on weekends. Parking is available on side streets, and a nearby hose is perfect for rinsing off after your session. Fall is an ideal season for epic days, but the spot can be surfed year-round.
