The launch site is a steep, rocky, and uneven meadow located below the garden restaurant. This launch is suitable only for experienced pilots. Transportation options via cable car: 1. From Flums Bahnhof, take the Postauto to Tannenboden, then continue with the cable car to Maschgenkamm. 2. From Unterterzen, take the cable car to Tannenboden and then continue to Maschgenkamm. Special note: When searching for thermals, avoid losing too much altitude and fly north out of the valley. At the valley exit, a large high-voltage power line crosses the entire Schilstal. This power line is marked on the map.
