Altitude: 2170-2270 m This site is rarely used. It is suitable for hike & fly, with some potential for cross-country flights. There are various launch sites available. From there, continue over steep meadows directly to the ridge. Difficulty: Intermediate Altitude above sea level: 2280 m Summit Launch - 3-5 hours of hiking required! The ascent can become very dangerous in wet conditions or snow. The Wiggis is essentially the local mountain of Netstal in the Glarus region. As is typical in the Glarus region, the altitude differences are significant for flights. Unfortunately, at Wiggis, it is somewhat inconvenient as the launches are only accessible on foot. Flight Wiggis is known for its excellent launch sites and beautiful south-facing flights. The nearly 2000-meter altitude difference makes it possible.
