Access to the launch: Located below the hamlet of Mayen. The launch area is a grassy slope with a steep incline and good clearance, making it suitable for beginners. The site faces southeast. Launching is best with a southeast wind. Thermals can be present at the launch, but be cautious of turbulence with west winds. Parking is prohibited in the hamlet.
