This paragliding site in Switzerland offers a takeoff altitude ranging from 1928 to 1955 meters, making it a medium-altitude launch. It is rarely used, but it does provide some opportunities for cross-country (XC) flights. There are various takeoff options available.
For those interested in hike & fly, you can follow the trail from Seewis to the Vilan summit. The hike takes you well above the tree line to an elevation of around 2000 meters. The area features beautiful, expansive green alpine meadows facing southeast, which are ideal for early morning launches.
