Description
At an elevation of 1605 meters, this site offers a rarely used, panoramic flight experience. Drive all the way to the top and turn right towards the dome. Park neatly at the parking area, then head east and descend to the next ledge, approximately 60 meters down.
On the far right (south) side of the ledge, you can lay out one wing at a time. This launch requires good takeoff technique and wing control. From here, you can glide down to Alvdal, which is at 1150 meters, even with a beginner wing.
If you land in Tylldalen, you'll have more altitude to work with (1300 meters), but it will be a longer trip to get picked up.
