The local club, Fly Domleschg, provides additional information: [Fly Domleschg Club](http://www.flydomleschg.ch/trans.html)
Directions: Drive to Trans and then hike the remaining 500 meters in elevation. It might be possible to get closer by car, but it's best to inquire beforehand to avoid any issues.
Trans is located in Domleschg, near Chur, and is easily accessible by both car and public transportation. The area is also interesting in winter due to winter thermals. However, the last 500 meters must be covered on foot.
Flight options include enjoyable flights to Tomils or winter thermals, with excellent thermals in spring. Avoid flying over the wildlife protection zone around Fulhorn. When flying towards Scalottas, be aware of the wildlife protection zone at Piz Danis/Raschil and adhere to the regulations around Scalottas. For valley crossings towards the west, follow the rules for Heinzenbergergrat and Beverin.
Detailed information can be found at the launch site, landing site in Cazis, and on information boards at Rothorn and Scalottas.
