Description
A charming little ridge right by the harbor in Torkelstorp. Park at the harbor and walk up the hill just north of the parking area. There are several launch spots, but the best one is at the far end of the ridge. After passing through the gate, keep to the right and head towards the hill. There are some planks along the path to help you cross wet areas.
Landing is available along the entire ridge below. If the wind is decent, you can fly back to the parking area and land next to your car.
The optimal wind direction is 230-250 degrees (WSW). For current wind conditions, check the Onsala Space Observatory (about 6 km west of Torkelstorp) at http://vind.minimum.se/ (select Onsala from the dropdown menu). The wind should be around 7-8 m/s for good flying conditions. If it's thermic, less wind can also work.

Please note that this is a nature reserve, so avoid damaging trees, bushes, or other vegetation. It would be a shame if the site were closed due to such actions. In summer, cows graze in the field below the launch area.
