Description
Located at an elevation of 957 meters, this paragliding site offers a rarely used, panoramic flight experience. To reach the take-off point, drive to Oppheim between Stryn and Loen. The hike up takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Launching is feasible in most directions, although eastward launches might be somewhat challenging. If you take off southward, be aware that reaching the Stryn side may be difficult without excellent glide performance. Landing is possible on the fields below Oppheim, though this has not been extensively tested. The main landing zone is in Stryn town center, near the high school.
