Conditions Optimales
Description
Located in Breidenbach, Germany, this paragliding site offers a launch height of 525 meters and a height difference of 150 meters. The site is moderately popular and is primarily used for soaring, with occasional opportunities for cross-country flights. It is an interesting small area, with the launch point situated directly next to a wind turbine.
The site is operational mainly from August to February. It is essential for all pilots to receive an orientation before flying here. The site can only be flown with a southwest wind, and the lift band is quite narrow, accommodating a maximum of four gliders at a time. This makes it a challenging terrain.
Pilots must maintain a safe distance from the wind turbine rotors and adhere to ridge soaring rules and environmental protection regulations, especially during the Uhu owl breeding season from February 15 to July 15. During this period, flying is generally prohibited unless stated otherwise on the website.
A day membership is available for a fee of €5. The site has wind turbines in the background, and there is a risk of lee-side turbulence below the launch area.

Access to the site is possible up to the barrier at the quarry. The Achenbach quarry has been a flying site for over 10 years. For further details, visit [Entenberg](http://www.entenberg.eu/).
