Paragliding Squires Peak, OR

This paragliding site is located in Southern Oregon, USA, with a takeoff height of 854 meters and a height difference of 400 meters. It is a rarely used spot, ideal for hike & fly and thermal soaring. The site record is 7.9 km. The launch area is a south-facing slope overlooking Applegate Lake, situated west and behind Woodrat Mountain. For optimal conditions, S to SW winds are required. The landing zone (LZ) is at Long Swords Winery or any clear field along the route.
