The launch site is situated at an elevation of 2000 meters and is easily accessible. You can start from almost anywhere on the mountain, making it a versatile spot for takeoff. To reach the launch site, take the chairlift from Savognin to Somtgant. From there, it's a 5-minute walk to the launch area, which is a moderately steep meadow. The launch window faces northeast and is considered easy, making it suitable for beginners. The site is usable both in summer and winter. You can also start below the mountain station in the same direction. The highest point for takeoff is at 2250 meters above sea level.
