Description
Located in the region of Nafarroa, Spain, this paragliding site offers an elevation of 1046 meters with a height difference of approximately 500 meters. It is an easy site, frequently used for soaring, and cross-country (XC) flights are possible. The site has a notable record of 33.8 km.
The takeoff is oriented from North to Northeast. Access is via the road that ascends to Urbasa from Altsasu. Before reaching the camping area, take the path to the left. Note that beyond a certain point, a permit is required to drive as it is a natural park.
The maximum altitude for takeoff is 1140 meters with a North orientation. For access, from Pamplona, take the N1 to km 46, then head towards Iturmendi. From the south of the village, follow the path to Ermita Santa Marina to reach the takeoff points. The maximum height difference is 495 meters.
