More information on ParaglidingEarth Landing : Visit before flying! (Cables!!) Landing place has got approximately square shape, relatively small. Visit is must for first timers here. Flairs use to be in the corner close to road and also in opuncia cactus in the middle of LZ. In last year there appeared some artificial jumps for mountain bikes. Mountain bikes share the same take off and landing zone and are approaching the LZ with full speed so watch out to avoid collision. Going there : Valle de San Lorenzo for the landing zone. TF-565 direction to Vilaflor for the take off. Comments : If feeling lucky and having 300m plus over the start you can jump west between Conde (the flat mountain on right from take off) and Ifonche (the sharp peak nw from Conde) to cross to Fanabe valley and then continue in direction of Taucho and Los Gigantes along the hills. Weather hazards : With Eeast wind you may encounter strong turbulences and rotor downstream on the landing zone. Flight regulation : Do NOT fly beyond the mountain shown in the second picture, as you will enter the airport traffic zone of TFS: this will endanger the existence of this flying site! Same applies if you reach Conde on the west from Jama, do NOT fly southwards from Conde (in attempt to land on beach in Los Cristianos) Schöner Startplatz direkt an der Strasse. Anfahrt Von der TF1 kommend über San Miguel, in San Miguel Richtung Tamaide, danach Richtung Jama. Start An der ersten Abzweigung nach Jama vorbeifahren. Nach wenigen Kilometern in einer scharfen Linkskurve liegt direkt neben der Straße der Startplatz. Windspione sichtbar. Naturstart nach S. Landeplatz Liegt direkt unterhalb des Hangs. Leider Ortschaftsname vergessen. Aber GPS Daten könnten auch weiterhelfen. Schwierigkeit: Im Kessel von San Lorenzo befindet sich oft die Luftmassengrenze der von NO resp SW einströmenden Luft. Das beeinflusst nicht nur auf welcher Seite des Kessels gesoart werden kann, sondern ganz speziell auch die Verhältnisse am Landeplatz! Achtung: siehe Bild vom Hauptstartplatz: gut sichtbar links im Bild über dem Gurtzeuf der spitzige Fels, der nicht überflogen werden darf! Dahinter beginnt die CTR des Flughafens TFS. Bitte UNBEDINGT respektieren, da das Fluggebiet sonst gefährtdet ist!
