Height: 403 meters / Elevation Difference: 80 meters Occasionally used, soaring Region: Germany Nearby flights: 39 Flight area record: 2.6 km The new (2014) southeast-facing launch site is situated above a 10-hectare practice flying meadow (WSW-OSO), which acts like a parabolic dish, capturing the wind in the high valley. This thermally active flying area is located on the southern side of the Homert mountain range (650m above sea level). The large, obstacle-free landing meadow is also suitable as a training slope for E-S-W wind directions. The launch site at the top is only for SE to ESE wind.
