Description
Located in the Rute region of Spain, this paragliding site offers a take-off altitude of 1214 meters with a height difference of approximately 600 meters. The site is considered difficult and is occasionally used, with no recent flight logs available. Cross-country flights are possible here.
To reach the take-off point, head to Rute De Las Cruces. Follow the road around the south side of the mountain to the GPS coordinates 37°19.8'N, 4°19.92'W. From there, follow the track for 3 kilometers to reach the upper mountain area. The surroundings feature lots of flatlands and olive trees.
Another nearby site is located in Lucena, about a 30-minute drive away. This site has a road leading to the take-off point near a small church.

The maximum take-off altitude is 1270 meters with orientations to the South, West, and North. The take-off is considered difficult. Access is via the regional road 334, with a turn-off towards Priego, passing through Las Lagunillas on the southern slope of the mountain range. After 3 kilometers, take a left turn onto a track that leads up to a repeater station. Park your car on the esplanade above, where the southern take-off point is located, facing west towards the crosses. The maximum height difference is 800 meters.
