Description
Located in the Cazis region of Switzerland, this paragliding site offers an elevation of 1915 meters and is known for its ease of use. It is regularly utilized and provides good cross-country (XC) opportunities for both hang gliders (HG) and paragliders (PG). There are numerous launch sites available, with one of the most frequently used being easily identifiable by fluttering ribbons, requiring a short ascent of approximately 50 meters.
You can drive up to Alp Präz at 1930 meters. From there, it's a 30-minute walk to the launch site, which is a moderately steep, slightly hilly meadow situated between the alpine hut and the summit. The site is oriented between 67.5° and 112.5°.
The highest point of the site is at 2120 meters, and there is no cable car available, so be prepared for a bit of a hike. The launch area is a large, ideal alpine meadow, perfect for takeoff.
