sÄrlivegen and continue for 7.6 km until you see a trail branching off to the right. From there, it's about a 90-meter climb in elevation and 750 meters to the top. The designated landing area is at the sports field in Otta, 5 km away, with additional landing options along the route.
The site allows for launches in various wind directions. However, in southern winds, conditions need to be almost calm to avoid difficulties with tree clearance. In eastern winds, be cautious of wind strength as you will need to navigate through a narrow valley that can generate turbulence.
