Description
This is a small but pleasant ridge located in Denmark. The height of the slope is approximately 20 meters, and it offers good take-off and landing conditions. However, it is on private property, so you must call the owner, Heinrich, at 8635 6768 to ask for permission to fly. This is crucial.
On favorable days, you can soar along the entire WSW ridge for many kilometers, although local soaring is more common. The site record is 4.5 km, with a typical distance of around 2.2 km.
To get there, head from Aarhus via main route 15 to Mols and continue to Helgenaes. Follow the signs for Ørby. Parking is available at Sletterhagevej 47, 8420 Knebel, where the road meets the coast on a green lawn. From the parking area, walk along the beach towards the north until you find a path leading to the top, which offers good initial conditions for paragliding.
