Parapente Omblos Ομπλός

Take off from Omblos at an altitude of 720 meters, with coordinates UTM 34S Nx: 567174 y: 4225951. You can fly with Southwest-West and Northwest winds almost every day of the year. The site is located 10 km from the sea and just 15 minutes from Patra, with excellent road access as 90% of the road is paved. The take-off area is covered with fine gravel and can accommodate up to five paragliders simultaneously. There is also a kiosk where pilots can rest. While airborne, you will have a stunning view of the city of Patras, the Patraiko Bay, and the Rio-Andirio Bridge. On clear days, you can see as far as Messologi, Araxo, and Kefalonia. The typical flight route is over the area of Krini, but cross-country flights are also possible. Pilots can choose routes to the Northeast towards Panahaiko or to the south towards Erymantho Skiada and Erymantho-Kalabryta.
