Description
The takeoff site is located at an altitude of 1158 meters with a height difference of 650 meters, making it suitable for easy to medium-level paragliding. This site is regularly used and offers opportunities for soaring and cross-country flights. The takeoff area is a gentle grassy slope, which is ideal for learning how to launch, although it can be a bit technical.
There is a high-voltage power line that needs to be crossed, but it is easily manageable. In case of strong valley winds, there is a possibility of landing along the straight line of Glutière.
Access to the site is straightforward. From the landing area at the football field in Ollon, you can take a shuttle. Alternatively, you can drive up to Chésières, take the first left towards Pré Fleuri, and park in the designated area.
For cross-country flights, you can head towards Les Vernets and follow the ridge up to Grand Chamossaire. The landing area is in Villy.
