Soaring and cross-country flights are possible from this location. The main launch site is accessible, but you can also hike higher if desired. A mountain railway is available for easier access. The launch area is a steep alpine meadow with large stones. Be cautious as strong updrafts are common at the launch site. Avoid launching during strong Bise or Föhn winds. Soaring above Biberg is feasible, and taking off is manageable. For summer flights, consider launching from Allmenalp instead.
