Paragliding Mt Bullion, CA

Located in Mariposa, CA, Bullion offers a launch altitude of 1085 meters with a height difference of 387 meters. This site is rarely used and is known for thermal soaring, with the potential for cross-country (XC) flights on good days. Access to the launch site involves driving up and then walking the final stretch, which is on a private road. It is advisable to fly with local pilots as the launch area appears to be on private land. The top of the mountain is privately owned, and local pilots have access to it. There is a landing zone (LZ) next to the airport, and while there are many landable fields, most of them are private property.
