Description
Take off:
Located at the south end of the Mont Dore ridge, at an altitude of 400 meters.
Landing:
You can land in a large grass field with a glide ratio of 4 from the take-off point, or in a field with horses just south of the take-off area.
Getting there:
Take the Mont Dore main road and follow signs for Vallon Dore or Plum along the seaside. When you reach the end of the ridge, look for signs indicating the Eole climbing walk.
Comments:
The site offers good coastal soaring but is occasionally used. Reaching the take-off point can be challenging. Always fly on the south end of the ridge due to the proximity of the airport. Bring water and a replacement t-shirt, as the one used during the climb will likely be wet.
