Description

Location: Saint-Faustin How to get there: Take the Laurentian Highway (15) approximately 18 km north of Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts and continue to St-Faustin via Route 117 North. Usage: Paragliding Season: Outside of the ski season Level: Novice Takeoff: East of the unloading area at the beginning of the main slope Elevation: 200 meters Orientation: North Wind Sock: At both takeoff and landing areas Requirements: Stop at the hotel reception to obtain the key for the gate and inform the authorities about the presence of paragliders on the site. You must also present your membership card from the Faucon Vol free flight club to fly here. Access to Takeoff: After obtaining the key, continue on Route 117 North to the next exit on your left (approximately 1.5 km). Take the summit road to the base of the slopes on the North side. The takeoff is east of the unloading area at the beginning of the main slope. Landing: Between the chairlift loading area and the end of the "beginner" slope east of the chairlift. Challenges: It is recommended to make your approach between the artificial lake and the end of the slopes to the northeast of the landing area. The final approach is generally facing west. Consult a local pilot before your first flight at this site. Restrictions: The mountain is closed for paragliding during the ski season unless special authorization is obtained for specific events.
