Paragliding Mannen, Leknes, Lofoten

This site offers a rarely used but beautiful view, perfect for soaring and panoramic flights. Speedriding is also possible here. There are many takeoff options around the area. Follow the signs to Utakleiv. You can turn off the E10 both north and south of Leknes. Just before reaching Utakleiv, you'll arrive at Haukland. Trust me, you'll know you're in the right place when you see it! You can easily glide out to the Nonshammar wall, but be cautious as the wind shifts due to the hills in front of the ridge. Avoid flying too far out over the sea. There is a large, nice landing area where you can inflate your wing and kite up the grassy slope until you're ready to take off.
