At an elevation of 3341 meters with a height difference of 920 meters, this site is rarely used but offers opportunities for soaring, speedflying, and cross-country (XC) flights. There are two takeoff directions, and this is the southeast one. A P4 rating is required to fly here. Access is via a gondola. Before flying, you must contact Kari (kari@karicastle.com) or Mammoth Mountain. Flying with a guide is mandatory, and a waiver must be signed before heading up the hill.
