Paragliding Malandrino

Located at an altitude of 1085 meters, this paragliding site is regularly used and offers the potential for cross-country (XC) flights. It is also a designated competition takeoff point. The best wind direction for this site is from the west-southwest (WSW). The site is situated in Velia's Valley, Greece. To reach the takeoff point, head north from Malandrino via a dirt road. The takeoff area faces from southwest to northwest at over 1000 meters and works well with light southern and northwestern breezes. The site record for the longest flight is 38.5 kilometers.
