Description
Located at an altitude of 1319 meters with a height difference of 597 meters, this paragliding site in Morocco is regularly used and offers opportunities for small cross-country (XC) flights. The site record is 8.4 km, which you can view [here](http://www.paraglidingforum.com/leonardo/flight/284899).
This site is excellent for cross-country departures, with the classic route being from Mzouda to Aguergour. There are two possible take-offs, which are quite technical, but you can also take off from various points along the track. The track is accessible by car, but be cautious after heavy rains.
Thermals can become strong quickly, and the breeze can intensify. The wind direction can change rapidly, so stay alert.
Landing back at the take-off point is possible but very technical. To avoid long shuttle rides, you can land on intermediate plateaus. Otherwise, landings are typically done at the valley bottom in numerous fields (watch out for crops, bushes, and power lines) or in the riverbed.
