Paragliding Lohn

This launch site is situated at an elevation of 1570 meters and is considered easy to use. It is rarely utilized, with some pilots opting to start from higher altitudes. The launch window is open year-round, provided there is no valley wind. The orientation is southeast. To reach the launch site, you can take a mountain railway. The coordinates are 9.427580702377, 46.650754468062. From the large parking lot at the village entrance, it’s a 5-minute walk through the village to the launch site behind the church. The launch area is a large, moderately steep meadow. Important: Avoid using this site during southern wind conditions or when there is a tendency for Foehn winds.
