This site is occasionally used for paragliding, with many takeoff options for different wind directions nearby. To get there, drive on road E10 from Leknes towards Svolvaer. After passing the Viking museum at Borg, continue until you cross a short bridge and go up a slope. Park at the highest point of the road. From there, follow the trail to the top, which takes approximately one hour. The area offers large takeoff zones suitable for all wind directions. The main wind for soaring is from the southwest. There are various landing options: one near the parking area with an altitude difference of 250 meters, and another with a difference of 340 meters. Be cautious of aerial cables in the area. On windy days from the southwest, be aware that two wind directions may meet. One wind comes from the southwest above the sea, and another from the south-southeast along the valley and small lake.
