Paragliding Lake Albert Abert Rim Walkup 3

Located in South Oregon, USA, this paragliding site sits at an elevation of 1397 meters with a height difference of approximately 100 meters. It is occasionally used and is suitable for walk-and-fly activities. The site offers opportunities for soaring and some thermals, making it possible to achieve cross-country flights, although they are not very common. There are many higher hike-and-fly options in the area. The site record is 32.6 km. About a mile south of the wooden geological information sign, there is a pullout and a short walk-up where you can bench up and enjoy the entire rim on days with winds from the northwest to southwest.
