Paragliding La Palma - Torre del Time_El Time

H 1130 m / medium rating 3/6 regularly used, easy access (park at fire watchtower, see picture), panorama flights, xc possible. A very interesiting and spectacular takeoff requiring experienced pilots and (before first flight at least) local guiding, locals will tell you whether it works or not. Good grassy launch. After launch you will directly use the ridge to use early thermals (on the southern side). These thermals can get rather strong. Wind systems can be complicated. Do not fly if you are not sure. Landing at Puerto Tazacorte. - west wind is best - SE launch direction very rarely used. Turbulence with south and eastern winds. Landing site at the beach of Tazacorte. Attention, strong winds may blow out of the caldera.
