Paragliding La Dole

La Dôle, located in the Vaud region of Switzerland, offers a unique paragliding experience. The launch site is situated at an altitude of 1660 meters, in front of a cliff, making it suitable for soaring. However, it is rarely used. Coordinates: 46°25'39''N - 6°06'06''E The site is flyable with winds coming from the East and East-Southeast. All other wind directions make it impracticable. Pilots must be cautious of various antennas from Skyguide at the summit and the cables from the gondola lift. Strict adherence to the TMA DE GENENE airspace regulations is required. Access to the site varies by season. In winter, you can reach it via the EspaceDôle chairlift and then hike to the summit. During summer, parking is available at Les Dappes or Couvaloup, followed by a hike to the launch site. Managed by the Club de vol libre de la Dôle, this site has a site record of 2.0 km.
