Brattön offers good opportunities for thermal flying, especially when the wind is coming from the northeast. However, if the wind shifts towards the east or southeast, it may become turbulent. Be cautious when choosing your landing spot, as there are many electric wires in the village below. The northeastern tip is free from power lines and seems to be the best bottom landing area in northeast winds. The optimal landing spot, however, would be to top land near the takeoff point.
