Description
A small northwest-facing ridge at the far end of Koön. The ridge is low and not very long. However, the great thing here is that with a northwest wind, there is an open sea in front of you, with the next stop being Norway. The ridge is also located far out in the archipelago, which means you can find more wind here when it's weak at Rörtången and Tjolöholm.
Park at the end of the road by the barrier. You can land on the small peninsula below or perform a top landing. However, plan your landing well in advance. Launching is possible in various spots as there are bare rocks on top of the ridge.
This is absolutely not a place for beginners as the launch can be tricky and the landing area is quite uneven.
First one to land on the fortress walls wins ;)
