At an elevation of 1972 meters with a height difference of 540 meters, this site in Nevada, USA, is regularly used and offers good thermal soaring and cross-country (XC) potential. Landing below or on the leeside, such as on Lake Tahoe at Nevada Beach, is possible, but it's recommended to aim for XC flights from here. You can drive up to the site and then walk for about 5 minutes to reach the launch area. Make sure to catch your first thermal promptly. The takeoff area has a nice setup with a steep dirt slope and small rocks. Be aware of the tree obstacle immediately after launch. Landing options are limited and challenging, so plan accordingly.
