Paragliding Jeep Hill Training Hill Cedar City, UT

At an elevation of 1927 meters with a height difference of 150 meters, this site is ideal for morning and evening flights. The hill stands 600 feet above the landing zone (LZ) and can be accessed either by hiking or using a 4WD vehicle due to the steep and rocky roads. A 2WD car won't make it to the top. This location is suitable for training and soaring. On days with a south wind, the landing zone is in the fields next to the golf course. The best wind conditions for this site are from WSW to SSE at 10-15 mph. Be cautious of north winds, as they can cause turbulence from the ridge to the north, making it unsuitable for students. For directions to the launch site, turn east on 1600N and follow the road until you see the hill.
