Description
This site features a large and spectacular V-shaped slope that offers excellent altitude and is very close to the city. The best conditions are with a west wind, although a southwest wind can also work reasonably well. For southwest winds, it is recommended to start from the higher southern ridge.
This location is suitable for experienced coastal soarers. The takeoffs and landings are quite advanced, making it unsuitable for beginners.
Optimal wind conditions are 6-8 m/s from the west for launching from the lower start in front of Lena's house. For southwest winds, it is better to start from the higher southern ridge, which has a path leading up from behind.
Primary landing spots include top landing, the bike path in front of the golf course, the beach at Hovas Kallbadhus, and the grassy area east of Amundön's parking lot. The water is very shallow if anyone wants to attempt a water landing.

Permission has been obtained from landowner Lena Larsen to use the start on her property and parking space for up to two cars. Additional parking is available at Hovås Värdshus, an 800m walk to the start. The higher start is likely on public land, and parking is recommended at Amundön's small harbor.
