Located in the Gstaad region of Switzerland, this paragliding site is situated at an altitude of 1663 meters. It is rarely used and primarily suitable for soaring. The take-off area is not considered a significant launch site.
The take-off point is directly next to the mountain station and a restaurant. The launch area is a moderately steep meadow, making it an easy take-off spot. The take-off window faces north.
To reach the take-off site, take the gondola from Schönried to Hornberg. The elevation at the take-off point is 1750 meters, and it is just a 2-minute walk from the gondola station.
