Description
Hengplass is situated at an elevation of 810 meters and is occasionally used for thermal soaring. It is best suited for southeast winds, although any wind with a southern component can also be favorable. The launch site is located in a bowl-shaped area at the top of the curves when driving up to Vikafjellet from Voss. There is a small parking area on the lower side of the road, and it is a 150-meter walk to the launch site with minimal elevation difference.
