Description
At an elevation of 2126 meters, this site is regularly used by hang gliders and offers good to very good cross-country flying opportunities. The hang gliding ramp is located directly below the observation platform. You can reach the launch site using both the lower and upper cable cars. If you have a half-day pass, be sure to bring it along. There are plenty of parking spaces available at the valley station in Erlenbach. Hang gliders are loaded onto the roof of the cable cars. If no local pilots are present, it's advisable to first contact the cable car staff. Up to six hang gliders can be set up simultaneously on the ramp. The launch direction is South-Southwest.
