Description
The launch site is situated at an elevation of 697 meters in Germany. It features a beautiful ramp, but no flight logs have been found for this location.
The launch area for paragliders is a meadow next to the Naturfreundehaus Braunenberg, below the antenna. Launching is only permitted with a launch leader, who can also be a pedestrian. There is a hang glider ramp located 200 meters further south, above a small quarry.

The ramp is positioned above a small quarry, southeast of the Naturfreundehaus Braunenberg. You can drive to the Naturfreundehaus except on Sundays and public holidays. From there, access to the launch site is only on foot, approximately 500 meters along a trail. The launch direction is southwest, and launching is only allowed after a thorough briefing by club members.
Hang gliders can land in front of Röthardt (to the west) or near the retirement home above Grauleshof.
